ScieMedia has years of experience with multimedia web applications in historical and cultural fields, in the past through Flash and more recently through websites in which text, images and video are integrated as much as possible.

The starting point is the idea that the different modalities such as text, image and animation are equivalent and can only form a full-fledged and clear story in well-considered mutual coherence. Imago1900 is a testing ground in which this principle is put into practice with introductory contributions on various topics from the modern history of Europe.
